BME’s Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) Engine is the future of firefighting. The WUI offers the versatility to respond to both structural and wildland fire situations.
With increased maneuverability, 1250-1500gpm midship pump, wildland pump and roll capability, this engine provides a lot of resources for a lower cost. The WUI also offers a great return on investment (ROI) because it can be deployed on contract fires, meets ISO insurance requirements, and is a multi-use engine that can operate in many environments.
The Bighorn is the BME WUI engine on a commercial chassis with a modified model 34 body. BME uses the traditional model 34 body configuration with a 33” stretch to accommodate the larger pump, ladder complement, and body configuration.
